As a storyteller, I often take my tales to the stage. I’ve performed my essays at some of the literary world’s most distinguished institutions, including Lamprophonic, Rally, The Nuyorican Poets Cafe, and Why There are Words.

I’ve gone off-book at popular storytelling series, including Generation Women—which features six women of note, across generations, performing an original piece on a theme—and Passing Through podcast’s first ever live show, which featured five women of color, telling stories of travel and place.

As a co-host of Black Girls Texting podcast, I moderate monthly live shows at Soho House locations across New York City. Each show features a celebrity guest interviewee.

I’m also frequently called upon to serve as a panelist, sounding off on everything from diversity and inclusion within the travel space, responsible travel, media, gender, and Black millennial identity. As a lecturer and educator, my topics of expertise include narrative writing, the art of storytelling and personal essay.
